Leaders’ impact, effectiveness, and legacy all come back to how they live their lives, how they conduct the business of ministry, and how they lead and treat others.

3 Action Steps to living with integrity:

  1. Put some people around you

One of the best ways to proactively keep on track is to surround yourself with people who will ask you the “hard” questions.  People you trust, people you respect, and people who you’ll listen to.  You need people in your life who will speak truth, even when it’s painful.

  1. Ask God for help, daily!

Our power, our discipline, our desire comes from Him!  Ask Him daily to help you make good decisions.  Ask Him daily for protection.  Ask Him daily for the strength to walk in integrity.  Remember, in 1 Peter 5:8 we’re told to “be self-controlled and alert.  Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.  Resist him, standing firm in the faith…”

  1. You’re not alone!

You not only need people to hold you accountable, but you need to help others to walk with integrity.  We really do need each other.
