Planning is a part of every aspect of your life.
Sometimes we don’t plan because we don’t know where to start.
Here’s a simple way for you to plan anything:
Answer these questions:
#1) Where am I now?
Whether it’s your business, schooling, an area of personal life, or a relationship, simply write down where you’re at NOW. What’s good, bad, missing…. Where are you today?
#2) Where do I want to get to?
Imagine you’ve arrived… what does that look like? What do you want to accomplish? Where do you want to go?
#3) How can I get there?
Just begin by plotting a course to get there. It’s like drawing a map from one point to the next. Write down 3 – 4 steps that will move you closer to where you want to be, and start there.
Planning doesn’t have to be all-encompassing at first. There’s a point where you need to dig deeper into detail, but a great place to start is simply by answering these three questions.
Now GO. Make a PLAN.
