You Get What You Commit To

In a leader’s life, you get what you commit to.

If you want a healthy body, but don’t work out, you get what you commit to.

If you want a better marriage, but don’t spend time with your spouse, you get what you invest in.

You want success but don’t define it; you get what you’re intentional about.

If you want accountability, but not responsibility, you get what you pay the price for.

If you want loyalty but don’t trust anyone, you get mistrust.

If you want to learn and grow, but don’t read, you don’t grow.

You know, we admire athletes and musicians who accomplish great displays of talent.  What we don’t see is the countless hours of training, practice, coaching and discipline involved in those accomplishments.

Paul the Apostle says:  “Whatever you commit to do, do it with all your heart, as unto the Lord.”
